Dr. Summer Niles grew up in a rural area of eastern Tennessee. She attended East Tennessee State University on a research scholarship and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry. Her passion for helping others combined with her interest in science is what prompted her to explore a career in dentistry. After graduation, she moved to south Florida and attended Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine, where she earned her dental degree. She’s been a Palm City local ever since and is thrilled to be able to serve her surrounding community for many years to come.
Dr. Niles believes that she can make a difference in patients’ lives by offering her patients the opportunity to be active in their treatment decision process, educating them as to how they can maintain a healthy smile for life. She strives for excellence in all of her endeavors and makes every effort to stay on top of current developments in dentistry.
To that end, she maintains the highest levels of accreditation and takes advantage of ongoing education in both cosmetic and implant dentistry. Her scope of dental expertise encompasses such procedures as prosthodontics, orthodontics, oral surgery, and implantology.
When she’s not in the office caring for patients, she spends most of her time with her husband and stepdaughter. Her hobbies include boating, playing golf, and traveling. She is also an avid member of her local CrossFit community.
MEET DR. BRENT FORD
Dr. Brent Ford is a Florida native, born and raised in Orlando, FL. He is a proud Florida Gator and completed his undergraduate degree in Computer Engineering at the University of Florida. Driven by his passion for healthcare, Dr. Ford pursued his dental degree at Nova Southeastern University Dental School, earning his DMD.
After graduating, Dr. Ford further honed his skills while serving his country as a Lieutenant in the U.S. Navy for five years. During his service, he was selected for the highly competitive Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency, where he served as the chief resident. This comprehensive year-long program allowed him to expand his dental knowledge and clinical abilities.
Always committed to advancing his expertise, Dr. Ford has completed numerous continuing education courses, with a special focus on dental implants. He successfully completed the American Academy of Implant Dentistry Maxi Course—a rigorous 350-hour program centered on the placement and restoration of implants.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Ford enjoys spending quality time with his family. He and his wife are blessed with three beautiful daughters, aged 9, 6, and 3. In his free time, Dr. Ford enjoys golfing, kids sports, and making lasting memories with his family.
